Role Overview

We are seeking a Director of Operations to support senior leadership by streamlining the business, building scalable systems, and creating a strong operational foundation. This role will focus on process improvement, SOP development, and operational structure so day-to-day management runs smoothly and leadership is no longer pulled into constant reactive work.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong construction or home services operations background, who can balance strategic thinking with execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate current operational workflows and identify inefficiencies
• Build, document, and implement SOPs across office and field operations
• Create process maps and operational playbooks for core business functions
• Systemize day-to-day operations to reduce leadership dependency
• Develop operational roadmaps and execution plans for business improvements
• Partner closely with leadership to support restructuring initiatives
• Improve coordination between field teams, project management, and administration
• Implement operational tracking, accountability, and reporting systems
• Support change management and adoption of new processes across teams

Ideal Background & Experience

• 8+ years in construction, masonry, concrete, or home services operations
• Experience at the Operations Manager, Director of Operations, or similar level
• Strong background in operational process design and systems building
• Proven experience creating SOPs, workflows, and scalable infrastructure
• Comfortable working in growing or restructuring environments
• Ability to move between strategy and hands-on execution
• Field-driven operations experience required
